01. Focus on the quality and length of wake windows
The benchmark isn't how much the baby sleeps, but how much and how well they're awake. The calculator fits the wake windows to the age first, and naps fall into place around them.
Enter an age from 1 to 18 months. In a minute you'll see how long your baby should stay awake and when to sleep during the day and at night.

Who's counting
My name is Julia. Since 2020 I've been doing the work I love: helping young moms and dads with their babies' sleep.
I hold a BabySleepConsult certificate and trained at the largest baby sleep center in the CIS. Over these years I've helped more than 680 families get their sleep on track.
The benchmarks in this calculator come from my own practice. From the very start I kept the sleep notes moms sent me. Those records are what the calculator's numbers are built on.
I hope this schedule is useful to you. I'd be glad to help further!
Method
The benchmark isn't how much the baby sleeps, but how much and how well they're awake. The calculator fits the wake windows to the age first, and naps fall into place around them.
Naps and wake windows are arranged through the day so sleep pressure builds up evenly by evening.
However the day goes, so goes the night: too much sleep or too little wake time shows up in the quality of the night.
Age, a couple of checkboxes, and the schedule is ready. Under the result you can compare one day against the age benchmark and save the schedule to Telegram.
